Circl’it Joins the Paris Call for the Reuse Economy

At Circlit, our vision is simple yet ambitious: a world without waste. Every day, we work to make reusable packaging a practical reality for businesses, helping them reduce single-use materials and unlock efficiencies.

Signing the Paris Call for the Reuse Economy is a natural step for us because its principles align perfectly with our mission. This call is not just a declaration—it’s a roadmap for systemic change, where reuse becomes the norm across industries, supply chains, and communities.

The Paris Call sets out 10 principles that we believe are essential to accelerate the transition to a circular economy:

  1. Create a culture and habit of reuse among all actors (private, public, citizens), especially within corporate strategies and public policies.
  2. Promote the eco-design of products to enable reuse and repair by developing shared guidelines or standards.
  3. Encourage standardisation of products (from packaging to components) to streamline reuse systems and logistics.
  4. Build and share a reuse infrastructure among stakeholders: from transport to storage, washing, and repair.
  5. Improve access to, sorting of, and management of reusable product streams.
  6. Develop a secure European digital space to enable data interoperability for reuse systems.
  7. Create quality labels for reuse to guarantee the reliability and safety of reconditioned materials, products, and packaging.
  8. Provide training for reuse professionals: adapt existing skills and develop new ones to support the sector’s growth.
  9. Define sector-specific support mechanisms and fiscal incentives to strengthen the competitiveness of Reuse Economy models.
  10. Promote, enforce, and monitor existing European regulations related to reuse.

The Paris Call is more than a statement—it’s a collective commitment to rethink how we design, move, and use products. For Circl’it, this is an opportunity to join a force of like-minded professionals to scale solutions that make reuse practical, profitable, and mainstream.

We invite our partners, clients, and peers to join us in this journey. Together, we can turn principles into practice and build a future where resources circulate endlessly, innovation thrives, and waste becomes a thing of the past.
